A selection of frequently asked questions:

Q: Why are your prices so low?

MWD: We really enjoy web design - so price our Services very competitively. We want clients to use our Services not only because of the price, but also because of our excellent customer service and attention to detail. We want to build long term relationships with clients and to be recommended by them.

Q: Do you serve areas outside Reading?

MWD: Yes - although face-to-face meetings may not always be possible due to the distance and time involved to travel. However, we can discuss many items over the phone - and send email updates to you.

Q: What is the time scale for a typical website?

MWD: Once we have an initial meeting, the initial site draft will be completed in roughly three to ten days. This will be hosted on the internet in a temporary location for you to view and to provide feedback. Once the Design is complete, it will be relocated to it's own domain name (website name).

Q: What are your payment terms?

MWD: You only pay once you've accepted the website design and content. At this point, we need to purchase the website name and hosting space, in order to upload the site onto the internet. At this point, full payment is required by cheque or bank transfer.

Q: What if I want 6 pages? Do I have to choose package B?

MWD: We have amended our Previous Policy, to now allow additional pages at just £15 per page.

Q: I don't understand the computers or internet terminology. Can you help?

MWD: Certainly! We will explain and answer all your questions, courteously and clearly. It's all part of the service!

Q: Who owns the website?

MWD: We own the domain name and the copyright for the website. This is to protect our intellectual property and design rights, but also to simplify the renewals process.

Q: What is the cancellation procedure/charges?

MWD: We take on the risk, time and effort without payment to develop the site to your liking. Once you've agreed to the design, we will take full payment for the site - to cover the costs associated with putting the site online (namely, purchasing domain name and web hosting space). You may cancel at any time afterwards but there is no refund since the payment covers our time and expenses. You are under no obligation/contract to stay on with us after the first year, although we trust our superior service will ensure you remain a happy customer! Q. Do you provide Receipts and/or Invoices?

MWD: Yes, upon request we will email you the required paperwork.
